Rain Painting

Rain paintings are traces of rain on paper. I rubbed pigment on paper and exposed the paper to different kinds of rains. Raindrops and splashes dyed the wetted areas blue.

- Rain Stains are 30x42 cm sheets of paper exposed horizontally showing the size and distribution of the splash marks.

- Rain Rolls are 3 meter high and 28 cm wide rolls of Japanese Sumi-paper exposed to rain vertically.
