Wavescapes

Wavescapes is a series of photographic cross sections of shallow water. To record the oscillation of the surface directly on photographic paper, I dipped a sheet of b/w paper into the sea. When a wave hits the shore, the top of the paper gets wet and reacts to humidity turning dark.
