Textures of the Landcape

In a book entitled Exercises in Style (Exercices de style) Raymond Queneau describes a scene in Paris 99 times in a row. Each time the story is retold in different litrary style.

Following Queneau‘s method, I tried to find ways to visually mediate the barren Icelandic landscape and totranslate it into script. I used elements of nature and found material (such as feathers, wool, plants and bones) as brushes, dipped them in ink and recorded the traces on a piece of paper (9x13 cm).
